Looking for After-School Child Care in Torbay, NL

Hi,
I’m looking for after-school child care for 2 children, ages 7 and 10. We live in Torbay, NL, and need child care from the end of the school day until after work hours (from 2pm until approx 5pm), starting this September.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with their own transportation, who would be able to pick up the kids from school, and care for them in their own home.

The children are enrolled in extra-curricular activities twice a week, so having transportation to drop them off at these is quite important to us.

One parent’s work schedule is regular & predictable (5-days a week), while the other’s is variable with extended periods away from home (up to 3-4 weeks at a time). Having some flexibility in child care scheduling would be an asset, and would be primarily focused on times when the 2nd parent is away for work.

Both our kids are well-behaved, curious, easy-going and articulate. They love outdoor time, arts & crafts, cooking, music, swimming, etc.
