WANTED: Longterm Occasional Nanny $17/hr Flexible Schedule

Location: Ottawa, The Glebe
Position Type: Occasional, Long-Term Babysitter

Hours: Flexible—Some Weekends (mornings, afternoons, evenings), Occasional Weeknights, Monthly Overnights, and One Full Week in January (January 1st to 6th)

About Us: Hello! We are the Narod Haince family. We are excited to find a caring and experienced nanny who can become a trusted part of our lives. Our family includes myself Tory, Jordan, and our delightful 15-month-old son, Eden. We value quality time together, especially outdoor adventures and play.

As we prepare for our upcoming wedding in January, we’re looking for someone who can help us on an occasional basis, including weekends, monthly overnights, and potentially some weeknights. We need a reliable caregiver who can build a meaningful relationship with our son and help us prepare for our elopement and honeymoon from January 1st to 6th. We are hoping to welcome someone into our growing family, for years to come.

Responsibilities:

– Provide loving and consistent care for Eden
– Engage in activities and playtime to support development
– Manage meal preparation and light housekeeping
– Assist with daycare pick-up and drop-off, if needed
– Stay overnight on a monthly basis and for one full week in January

Qualifications:

– Experience in childcare with a focus on toddlers
– CPR certified and willing to undergo a criminal background check
– Strong references and proven reliability
– Comfortable with overnights and flexible scheduling
– Ability to build a trusting and nurturing relationship with our son

Work Schedule:

– Occasional weekends and weeknights
– Monthly overnight stays
– Full week coverage from January 1st to 6th

Interview Process:

– Initial Zoom Meeting: We’ll start with a Zoom call to get to know each other.
– In-Person Meeting: If we’re a good fit, we’ll arrange a meeting with our son.
– Trial Play Sessions: We’ll schedule some trial sessions for our son to get acquainted with you.
