Seeking Experienced Nanny in Bedford, Nova Scotia – $18.5/Hourly

Family with one baby and three school-aged children (aged 1, 5, 7, and 9) searching for a caregiver for five hours per day on weekdays.
Primarily, the care will focus on the youngest (one-year-old), but will also include approximately an hour of after school care for three school-aged children.

Location: Bedford, Nova Scotia
Hours: 11:00AM to 4:00PM 5 hours/day (25 hours/week)
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Details: part-time, live-out position
Children: 4 children (Ages 1, 5, 7, 9), though most working hours there will only be one child to care for (infant age 1)
Start date: September 2024

Details can be negotiated.

Position expectations:
-Care for infant (age 1) from late morning until afternoon, including age-appropriate play and learning, stroller walks, and getting baby down for nap.
-Light tidying of child areas/housekeeping duties related to children when possible (while baby naps).
-Meal-time/snack-time.
-Pick up school-aged children from bus stop, walk them home, and help them unpack their school bags, and give snack before any after-school activities.
-Potential for additional hours in evenings or weekends if interested.

The ideal candidate should be a caring and kind individual with relevant qualifications and/or experience working with infants and young children, as well as a genuine love for child development.
