DZ Driver

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of driving experience in Canada, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a DZ class vehicle to transport goods and/or passengers to designated locations.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securement.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
Address and report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications:

Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2 to 3 years of driving experience within Canada, preferably with knowledge of regional routes.
Strong understanding of Canadian road safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to operate and manage various types of vehicles and equipment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift and handle heavy cargo as required.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with GPS and route planning software.
Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations related to transportation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
