Warehouse Associate

Location: Calgary, AB
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and physically active Warehouse Associates for our assignment in Calgary. The position involves working in a dynamic environment with the potential for extension and conversion to a full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable, and ready to contribute to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Moving Materials: Safely receive and move materials within the warehouse.
• Inventory Management: Verify inventory quantities and assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels.
• Order Picking: Pick and stage parts for store replenishment using a hand-held RF Scanner.
• Equipment Operation: Operate lift equipment (manual pallet jack; forklift certification provided after training).
• Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate paperwork related to inventory and shipments.

Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be able to lift and move 30 to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier items will be moved with assistance.
