Maintenance Technician. Short term ONE MONTH

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Scarborough

Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday – (2 – 4 week assignment)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to assist our contractor with the installation and relocation of warehouse racks. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Raymond reach forklift and possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Mounting up Pallet Racks using the Raymond Reach
Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience operating Raymond reach forklifts and familiarity with warehouse operations.
Skills: Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Safety: Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse environments.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and contractors.
Education and Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Forklift certification preferred, especially for Raymond reach forklifts.
Working Conditions:

Warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Physical demands include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Information:

This role may require occasional overtime or adjustments to the schedule based on project needs.
Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
