Fleet Tech Service, a part of Gerhardt’s Trucking Group is looking for a talented Parts Advisor.

Reporting to the Shop Forman and General Manager, the Parts Advisor is responsible for overseeing the operations management within the Parts Department to maximize profitability, team support and customer satisfaction.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (07:00am – 5:30pm)
Who You Are:
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Parts Advisor in Auto Dealership or Service Shop.
• Experience as a Parts Advisor within a Domestic manufacturers
• Strong emphasis on self motivation and teamwork
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to effectively respond and meet the needs of a diverse client base
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
What Your Day Will Look Like:
• Manage day-to-day parts demand for our service shop and the customers
• Ensure parts are available on time for our technicians
• Work with shop and provide best communication on lead times
• Keep up to date on manufacturer warranty while serving as a liaison with factory or vendors representatives
• Maintain and control parts inventory and perform periodic parts inventory audits
• Perform annual inventory count
• Perform parts returns
• Maintain the highest Customer Service by handling all discrepancies immediately and according to vendor’s policy
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates on the cost of parts and delivery lead-times
• Answering questions and concerns regarding parts
• Demonstrate positive attitude with Fleet Tech Service Core Values in all interactions with clients, colleagues and vendors.
