Spearing Service
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with management to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
Preventative maintenance on commercial trailers. Use of various hand tools and machinery to repair problems and welding of metals.
Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups;
Repair of replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools;
Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with Dispatch
Diagnose faults or malfunctions and inform management of the extent and possible costs of repair.
Train apprentices on proper general maintenance of heavy duty equipment, including preventative measures.
First point of contact on all equipment related issues both on and off site
Conduct routine inspections and repair of al faulty equipment, including on site maintenance
Complete testing and maintenance reports
Develop and perform routine maintenance of trucks, trailers and other equipment
Preventative maintenance on all trailers
Testing and inspecting vehicle to ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications and government standards
Perform scheduled maintenance service.
