Wanted: Laboratory Helper (P/T, 2 position, see indicated time)

CTA Lab is seeking one (1) Laboratory Helper in the asphalt materials lab and one (1) Laboratory Helper in the concrete materials lab. Start date: August 21, 2024

– The asphalt lab is seeking individual available weekly Wed-Thur-Fri OR Thur-Fri-Mon (please submit resume with your academic schedule if you are a student applying for position)

– The concrete lab is seeking individual with availability 1:30-5:00pm daily.

– All Part-time applicants should indicate their availability on their resume.
– High school student applications are welcomed, confirmation on availability for Sept to Dec required.

Terms of Employment:
Base rate $17.00/hr during probation then $18.25/hr benefits. Part-time for in-person employment. Expected to work less than 30 hours per week.

2. Working with and providing support to other members with laboratory test; and
3. Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualification:
– No experience, will train;
– Numeracy skills, strong organizational, self-initiator, time-management and multi-tasking skills is an asset; lift up to 25 kg; and
– Availability to work up to Dec 13, 2024.
