Job Description:
As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and dismantling formwork for various concrete structures, including foundations, walls, columns, and slabs. You will work closely with our construction team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Formwork Construction: Build, assemble, and align formwork for concrete structures based on blueprints, specifications, and design plans.
Measurement and Layout: Accurately measure and cut materials to ensure precise alignment and fit of formwork.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Quality Control: Inspect and repair formwork as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other carpenters, laborers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Formwork Carpenter in the construction industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, and technical drawings, and using hand and power tools.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and accuracy in all tasks.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and make necessary adjustments on the job site
