We are a locally owned and operated butcher shop located outside Wembley, AB. We assist the region with custom kills, and processing of domestic and wild game, as well as maintain our retail store front.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Meat Wrapper at Alberta Select Meats near Wembley, AB. The Meat Wrapper will be responsible for wrapping, packaging, and labeling various meat products, maintaining a clean work environment, assisting customers with their selections, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Job Specifications
Full-Time, 40hrs week
Job Pay: start wage is $17/hrs
Qualifications
•Efficient at wrapping beef, pork, wild game or an ability to learn quickly
•Customer Service skills
•Knowledge of meat cuts helpful
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent attention to detail and organization
•Strong communication skills
•Physical strength needed to lift and move heavy objects, weighing 50lbs throughout the day
•Prior experience in a similar role would be ideal
