LPL Aggregate & Excavating is currently looking for a team member within our gravel pit operations

Key Responsibilities
● Ensure compliance of LPLs health and safety policies and procedures
● Operation of various heavy equipment (Rock trucks, Loaders, & Skid Steers) with minimum 2 year’s experience
● Conduct and document pre-operational and post-operational checks on equipment
● Competent in the operation of LPL equipment according to company procedures including daily maintenance (fuel, grease, maintain fluid levels)
● Perform minor repairs to equipment and identify any defects for further maintenance
● Communicate with operations manager, supervisors, operators, and fellow crew members to complete jobs in a timely manner with focus on safety
● Identify and prevent potential hazards and report information to appropriate personnel
● Attend and participate in regular Toolbox meetings and training courses as required
● Use and maintain the required safety equipment (PPE) as necessary per identified hazards
● Perform labor duties as needed

Pre Employment Qualifications
● Completion of pre employment screening done by external third party

Qualifications
● Able to work overtime as required, as well as potential 7 day work weeks
● Able to work outdoors under varying weather conditions, restricted space, and heights
● Excellent time management and able to meet production deadlines
● Able to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
● Able to work under pressure with attention to detail, and promote a positive work environment
● Knowledge of safe working practices and procedures
● Willingness to adapt to other responsibilities
● Able to perform Laborer activities with no physical restrictions
● Able to commute to work
