Part-Time Nanny Position – After-School Care for 3 Children ages

Part-Time Nanny Position
Location: Toronto (M6C 2K9), Ontario

About Us:
We are a warm and welcoming family of five, with three wonderful children aged 9, 8, and nearly 5. We are seeking a caring and reliable part-time nanny to assist us in the afternoons and evenings, 3-5 days per week.

Position Details:
– Hours: 2.5 to 3 hours per day (to be negotiated)
– Days: 3-5 days per week (weekdays)
– Time: Starting at 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:
– Pick up the younger two children (boy & girl) from school by 3:30 PM and walk them home (approximately a 10-15 minute walk).
– Be at home when the oldest child (girl) gets off the bus around 4 PM.
– Assist with the after-school routine, including:
– Unpacking school bags
– Going to the washroom
– Providing snacks
– Helping with homework and reading
– Provide additional support and guidance to the oldest child, who is autistic (ASD – level 1), to help her follow the after-school routine and transition between activities.
– Occasionally watch two of the three children while Mom takes one child to an appointment.
– Walk the middle child to extra-curricular activities in the neighborhood, if needed.

About You:
– Reliable, punctual, and responsible
– Caring and patient, with a genuine love for children
– Experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is a plus
– Comfortable working in a home where a parent is present but may occasionally be away for meetings
– Open to flexible scheduling and willing to negotiate hours

Additional Information:
– Mom works from home and will be around most days unless she has an in-person meeting downtown.
– Dad is currently away for work for an extended period.
