Job description- 310T Parts Advisor & Stock Room

Day Shift: Monday -Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Occasional Weekends)

We are in search of a 310T licensed mechanic with experience who wants to transition out of hands-on work but stay in the industry.

In this front desk position, responsibilities include customer greeting, phone answering, parts ordering, parts sourcing for technicians, and occasional unit diagnosis assistance. Any computer software can be learned without prior experience. We are looking for an energetic person with excellent communication skills, impeccable organization skills, the willingness to learn and work unassisted.

Tech Trailers a fast-paced Truck & Trailer shop who specializes in fleet maintenance, structural repairs, welding, installing hydraulic liftgates, and we’re a warranty facility for truck body manufacturers & liftgates.

Job Duties:

1. Providing a high level of customer service including greeting customers, ability to look up parts, providing quotes, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere
2. Answering incoming calls and emails from customers and vendors to provide parts support, and process orders
3. Follow up with vendors and customers on a timely manner
4. Prepares invoices, returns, and work orders
5. Stockroom organizing, ordering weekly stock items, and maintaining high moving parts
6. Create a professional and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff.
7. Excellent multitasking Skills & Great Time Management skills
8. Occasional unit diagnosis assistance
9. Scheduling jobs into teams’ calendar, updating job status
10. Assist apprentices in sourcing parts, tools, or questions
11. Assuring Work Orders are complete after each job
12. Orchestrating Service Calls

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour – Based on experience
