Heavy Equipment Operator

Rockhard Excavating is a fast growing company with a positive atmosphere that specializes in residential and commercial Civil Construction projects. We are well established in the Okanagan and have been operating for 10 years. Looking for Immediate filling of this position.

We are looking for experienced and reliable heavy equipment operators to join our team for a full time permanent position.

Requirements:
– 2 years experience running excavators, skid steers, loaders and packers
-2 years experience in the Civil Excavation industry – building roads, digging/backfilling foundations, digging /backfilling for utility mainlines and service installation
– 2 years experience digging around live utilities
– Willingness to get out of equipment and assist ground crews as required
– Knowledge of proper equipment care and maintenance procedures
-Knowledge of WCB standards for safe excavations an asset
-Knowledge of general geotechnical requirements an asset
-Ability to read and interpret civil and foundation drawings an asset
-A valid drivers license and own vehicle

Wages range from $30.00-$40.00 per hour and are negotiable based on experience level.
