Job Overview
As an Agriculture Equipment Parts Technician, you will be responsible for managing parts inventory, providing technical support for agricultural equipment, and ensuring that all parts are available and in optimal condition for our clients. You will work closely with our service team and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
Responsibilities
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, track parts usage, and reorder parts as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Parts Identification: Identify and locate required parts for various agricultural equipment models and brands.
• Customer Service: Provide expert advice to customers and service technicians regarding parts and their applications.
• Order Processing: Process parts orders, including receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming parts, and preparing outgoing shipments.
• Technical Support: Assist in diagnosing equipment issues and recommend appropriate parts for repairs or replacements.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of parts transactions, including purchases, returns, and warranty claims.
• Equipment Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest agricultural equipment technologies and parts to effectively support our customers.
Skills
• Experience: Previous experience in a parts or service role related to agricultural equipment is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of agricultural machinery and parts, including knowledge of various brands and models.
• Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical information in an understandable manner.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy in managing parts inventory.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve parts-related issues efficiently.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant coursework in agricultural equipment is a plus.
• Experience operating a forklift
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
