Coles Customer Experience Leader Permanent Part Time

We are hiring a Customer Experience Leader at Coles in the LloydMall. This is a permanent part-time position.

We are looking for someone who loves reading, has retail experience and can lead people in an effective, positive way. As part of a small team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of work. Sometimes working alone and sometimes leading others, this person will focus on creating a great customer experience. The work includes connecting with people on the floor, at the till and on the phone. You will drive the metrics in the business and help others to do the same though feedback and coaching, using promotions and product knowledge to assist customers. As an omni-channel business team, our staff also assist customers in navigating our online site and app. As a leader, you will prioritize and plan what needs to happen on your shifts. Everyone on the team does till, receiving, returns, stocking shelves, merchandising displays and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

You will need to be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be on your feet to up to 8 hours. We require a minimum availability of 25 hours a week, which will include evenings, weekends and holidays as well as daytime shifts. The amount of hours given depends on the needs of the business, the ability level and the availability of the staff member. During quieter times, our CELs have been getting 11-15 hours a week, but this increases when we have projects, during Christmas and while covering vacations, etc..
