Cargill Limited is hosting a skilled trades (Millwright and Electrician) job fair on Wednesday August 28, 2024 at the Delta Hotel and Conference Centre . The Delta Hotel is located at 50 Stone Road West Guelph, ON N1G 0A9. The time of the event is from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The job fair will be in the Flanders Room.

Cargill’s North America protein business produces fresh, frozen and cooked beef, turkey, pork, chicken and egg protein offerings, sauces, soups, case ready products, pet treats and by-products for our retail, foodservice and food ingredient customers.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Must be 18 years or older
Continental Schedule (12 hours shifts – 7:00am to 7:00pm)
Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2 – Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Rate is $41.60 per hour with a $3,000 NET sign on bonus.
Employee referral program for skilled trades – $1,000 NET per referral
After probationary period met, (60 days worked) eligible for company benefit program. (Life Insurance, LTD, STD, Health, Dental, Paramedical Services)

Ability to purchase beef products at reduced cost
Able to work in a hot or cold environment. Cold is 0 to 4 Celsius
