Aramark is hiring an experienced Food Services Retail Manager to manage our Multi-Unit Food Service operation at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo.  The Food Services Retail Manager will plan, administer, and direct unit activities related to Harvey?s, Mr. Sub and four (4) Aramark proprietary units in a food court style operation.  If you have experience managing a fast-food franchise operation, this is an ideal opportunity!

Job Responsibilities

?    Daily management of retail food services of Harvey?s, Mr. Sub, and Aramark proprietary brands
?    Guiding a team of 75 part-time and full-time non-unionized staff in day-to-day operations
?    Ensure daily opening, operating, and closing of stores are done in accordance with frachise and Aramark standards
?    Assist with scheduling employees and managing time off, sick leave and reporting as required
?    Ordering, inventory and financials, including store registers and floats
?    Fill in for absent employees within a unit as required
?    Follow up and resolve customer complaints

Qualifications

?    2-3 years Food and Beverage management experience is required
?    Experience managing a fast-food franchise operation is preferred ? Tim Hortons, etc.
?    Knowledgeable conducting inventory counts, maintaining par levels and ordering 
?    Staff management including scheduling, training, coaching, tracking, and discipline 
?    Good communication and people skills to foster employee and client relations
?    Willingness to work within one of the units to cover an absence may be required
?    Knowledgeable about Health and Safety protocols and policies
?    Knowledgeable about Food Safety and Sanitation
?    Able to navigate Microsoft Suite including Excel is required
