Looking for a Reliable and Fun-Loving Nanny in London, Ontario –

Hello!
We are a London, Ontario family seeking a part-time nanny to care for our 5 year old son, one day per week (9am to 2/3 pm, likely Fridays), in our home in Old South. There is potential for more hours, but they are not required. Our bright, energetic 5 year old loves learning about space and the universe, making and completing mazes, playing games, and solving puzzles. He is fun-loving and friendly, and he loves to meet new people. He enjoys active play, especially exploring the outdoors and swimming, so a good candidate for this position should be comfortable with guiding and/or supervising outdoor activities, whether in our backyard or locally. The ideal candidate will have some experience teaching basic reading and math skills (grade 1-2 level), as we would like this to be a small part of each day.

Responsibilities include providing childcare throughout the day while we work or run errands; supervising local outings; teaching/practicing basic language and math skills; providing light housekeeping; and preparing snacks and lunch.

Because we are a family with medically vulnerable members, we are seeking a care provider who will wear an N95 mask while ‘on the job’ (supplied by us at no additional cost), and who will take a COVID test at the beginning of each shift (also supplied by us at no cost to the carer).

We do have an indoor cat, so if you do not like cats or are allergic, this may not be a good fit.
