We have a family at our Early Learning center in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan seeking a part-time nanny to transport and care for their child with Down Syndrom and Autism. He is a fun loving kid and loves to build connections. He is 3 year’s old, none verbal and is still learning to walk. The child attends daycare Monday to Friday and the family may be flexible with drop off and pick up times. The daycare is open from 7:30 to 5:30 and the child can only attend the daycare for 5 to 7.5 hours. The family would love to find someone that would be willing to transport their child and help out if needed.
Our center and family work closley together and would like to have another person join our team to support the child. We are looking for someone who is caring, reliable, flexible and loves to work with children. They also have to have their own vechicle, be able to lift the child and learn his none verbal cues. It would be ideal if the individual has any experinces working with children with dignoses and/or (dis)abilities.
