Hiring Rubber Surfacing Specialist for one of our clients in Sudbury, ON.

Job Summary: As a Rubber Surfacing Specialist, you will be responsible for applying and finishing rubber surfacing materials to various surfaces. Your role will involve screeding, leveling, and troweling to ensure a smooth, even, and professionally finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

Rubber Surfacing Application: Install and apply rubber surfacing materials to a variety of substrates, including playgrounds, driveways, walkways, and sports surfaces.
Screeding: Prepare surfaces by screeding to ensure a uniform thickness of the rubber material, addressing any imperfections or inconsistencies in the base layer.
Leveling: Use leveling techniques and tools to achieve a flat, smooth surface, correcting any unevenness and ensuring proper drainage where necessary.
Troweling: Finish the surface with troweling techniques to achieve a clean, professional appearance and to ensure the surface meets design specifications and client expectations.
Preparation and Mixing: Mix and prepare rubber surfacing materials according to manufacturer guidelines and project requirements.
Surface Preparation: Prepare and clean substrates to ensure proper adhesion and longevity of the rubber surfacing.
Quality Control: Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and address any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience in screeding, leveling, and troweling with a focus on rubber surfacing applications.
Skills: Proficient in the use of tools and equipment related to rubber surfacing, including screeds, trowels, and leveling devices.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of rubber surfacing materials, installation techniques, and surface preparation methods.
Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, project managers, and clients.
Certification: Relevant certifications or training in rubber surfacing or construction is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within the rubber surfacing industry.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and surfacing work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
