Our client, Electrical Manufacturing is seeking an Material Handler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Material handling experince and forklift certification which will align successfully in the organization. 

Job Title: Material Handler 
Location: Milton, On 
Pay: $21 – $23/hr 
Shift time: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday to Friday 

What’s the Job?
•    Unload and receive material accurately using the Oracle system
Operate lift equipment safely to move material in and out of high bay racking and around the plant. Material Handlers will drive a variety of machinery including counterbalance, reach truck and order picker
•    Pick and pack materials, finished goods for shipment to Satellites and other customers. Consolidate shipment in designated areas. Ensure packaging requirements are met to eliminate possible damage during transportation.
•    Pick and deliver material for production orders, deliver to designated workstations and store according to proper sequence and coding.
•    Pick material to fill Kanban bins in workstations or deliver Kanban components from feeder to assembly workstations.

What do you bring to the job?

  • Minimum 3 year experince operating a Raymond reach, counterbalance, cherry picker, tow motor/lift truck (Truck usage will be 40-50%)
  • Must also have a fall arrest certification
  • Basic to Intermediate computer skills including MS Office and database management.
  • Experience with Scanners for use in a Warehouse environment
  • Prior experience on truck loading
