41-9 Aerial Ltd located at SE 13-26-3 W4 Hamlet, Acadia Valley, Oyen, Alberta T0J0A0 (N51.12.50 W110.17.5) is a 702 aerial work and 703 aerial taxi day VFR commercial helicopter operator and has a vacancy for 6 full time and permanent Commercial Helicopter Pilots. Will travel to various sites throughout the province. We do aerial spraying, aerial surveying and firefighting, as well as numerous other services including sightseeing flights and passenger transport from various remote locations.

Duties

Pilot Robinson R-44 and Airbus AS350 aircraft on agriculture and forestry spray programs. 702 aerial work and 703 aerial taxi day VFR.
Follow emergeny procedures to compensate for equipment malfunction or failure.
Maintain accurate journey logs and record equipment malfunctions and corrective actions taken during the flight.
Conduct pre and post flight inspections and Pilot Work Orders.
Contact control towers for take-off clearances and arrival instructions.
Carry out minor maintenance and servicing of aircraft including washing
Navigate and operate confidently in various remote and demanding locations, prioritizing safety at all times.
Adherence to company safety protocols and aviation regulations throughout the contract.
Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to achieve project objectives within contract timelines.

Education and Credentials
Commercial Pilot Licence – rotary wing.
Hold a commercial helicopter pilot’s license with suitable endorsements for the helicopter Type AS350 and RH44
Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Licence
Pesticide Applicator’s Licence
Or have experience to be eligible to obtain all licencing

Experience
Minimum of 1500 hours of Rotary-wing experience and 500 hours on Type requirement.
Demonstrated track record of successful longline, survey and AG operations.
Longline, AG and Firefighting Proficiency: Proven expertise in executing operations with longline equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety. Proven experience in AG and Firefighting operations.
Remote Environment Adaptability: Capable of thriving in remote and challenging settings, showcasing adaptability and sound decision-making.
Sound understanding of aviation regulations and commitment to strict safety compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in isolated and challenging environments.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with crew members and support teams.
