Hiring Experienced Nanny in New Westminster, BC $25/hr

Looking for a responsible and caring nanny to join our family in New Westminster, British Columbia. We have 1 child in pre-school part of the week, and require a reliable and compassionate individual to provide quality care. This is a live-out, part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $25.0.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in childcare and be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our child. Responsibilities are limited to care for our child – no housekeeping nor anything not related to our child’s care. We value someone kind and patient, as our child can be very shy and scared around new people (social anxiety), ultimately warming up and engaging in play and conversation with you when she gets to know you.

As our child will be back in pre-school in September, we are looking for full-days care Tuesdays and Thursdays. We can provide more hours through the month of September on mon/wed/fri as our child transitions from part day-to-full-day at preschool on those days, if you are looking for more hours. (If you are not available, that is not a deal-breaker as we can arrange alternate care during this time). We can also offer occasional evenings and weekend hours if you are interested. Again, not a deal breaker. Our main concern is Tue/Th full days care. (We say this all to be fully transparent).

We are both work-from-home parents, but in a separate office in the house and will completely out of sight while you are here – you will be fully in charge and we will not disturb nor undermine you during that time.

We encourage outside play and are happy for visits to local parks or shops or whatever you feel comfortable with.
