Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Rigger to join our team at our Southeast Calgary job site. The ideal candidate will have up-to-date certification and experience in coordinating lifts with crane operators, ensuring the safe rigging of materials for lifts, and managing ground crew operations.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate lifts with the crane operator to ensure safety and efficiency.
– Safely rig materials for lifts according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
– Supervise and coordinate ground crew activities to ensure smooth and safe operations.
– Perform routine inspections and maintenance of rigging equipment.
– Ensure all relevant tickets and certifications are up-to-date and available on site for verification.
– Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.
Requirements:
– Certified in Rigging with current, up-to-date certification.
– Proven experience in rigging and coordinating lifts with crane operators.
– Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, techniques, and safety procedures.
– Ability to read and interpret lift plans and blueprints.
– Excellent communication and leadership skills.
– Must bring all relevant tickets and certifications to the site for verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Additional certifications related to rigging and lifting operations.
– Previous experience in a supervisory role.
