Automotive Technician needed

Bytown Auto is a small family run shop that treats every employee and customer as part of the family.
Bytown auto is looking for the right Automotive Technician or Apprentice Technician to join the team.
We have an opening for a licensed and experienced technician, or an apprentice with at least 1 year experience. Learn your Trade the right way, from 3 Technicians with a combined 60 years of experience.
We offer a relaxed work environment, with a wide variety of vehicles to work on.
We are constantly updating our shop and equipment and use new Snap on and Autel scan and diagnostic tools.
Bytown Auto offers a great work environment with experienced technicians and a competitive hourly wage based on experience. Business hours are 8-5 Monday to Friday, no weekends. Paid time off between Christmas and New Year’s, on top of normal vacation. The shop buys breakfast every Friday, and lunch a few times a month.
We perform minimal propane work, but applicant will not be required to work on propane. Majority of work is on domestic trucks and vans. Experience with diagnostics , safety inspections, and light truck repair is a must.

Apprentice Pay: Starting at $20.00/ hour for a new apprentice, with no tools of their own, to $32.00 /hour for an experienced 3rd year Apprentice.
