Class 3 Driver

Galimax is a growing company that is looking to hire a part-time employee. We are a company focused on distributing high quality, local, and organic food to restaurants and health food stores. With this job the majority of the work will happen Tuesday and Friday (25 – 30 hours per week) with weekends off.
Pay will depend on the individual’s experience and qualifications, but pay will be at least $24 – $26 per hour
Additionally you will receive benefits after 3 months probation.

What you will do:
-Class 3 driving locally and into Calgary, Canmore, and Lake Louise.
– Provide a high standard of customer service while delivering fresh food products of various sizes and packages to customers, this includes unloading and movement to customer use point.
– Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain shipping logs.
– Ensure that delivery paperwork is completed.
– Lift and carry up to 25 kg.
– The ability to lift heavy grocery product by hand for an extended period of time.
– Operate electric and manual pallet jacks to move large pallets of grocery product.

You are a great fit for this job if you:
– Have a clean drivers license
-Are able to work well with others
-Are self-motivated with a positive attitude
– Are reliable, attendance and punctuality for the position is key
-Perform well under pressure
-Have organizational and problem-solving skills
-Have a class 3 license
-Are able to wake up early, shifts start time are 2am – 5am
