Looking for a full-time live-out nanny in Ottawa (Rockcliffe/Man

We are looking to find a caring and engaged individual to support our family as a nanny for our infant and by helping manage our busy household. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with infants and young children. We hope to find someone who can provide nurturing care and a safe environment as our child grows. Other responsibilities will include organizing, light housekeeping (we have a cleaning service), laundry, and some meal preparation including for our child who has a food allergy. Candidate should have CPR and first aid certificates, background check, excellent references, and be up to date with their vaccines. Someone who is flexible and can accommodate some variability in our work schedules would be preferred. We look forward to welcoming a dedicated individual into our family team to help care for our little one.
The ideal candidate will:

– Have experience caring for you children
– Have experience with light housework
– Have First Aid and CPR certification
– Have a clear background check
– Have strong references
– Be up to date vaccinations as per public health guidelines (including yearly boosters for influenza and COVID, adult booster for pertussis (whooping cough), measles, and other routine childhood vaccines)
– Be good at communicating both with our child and us
– Provide nurturing care while doing activities with our child (reading, playing, outdoor activities)
– Be able to provide a safe environment for our child to thrive
– Be able to help with household tasks including tidying, organizing, laundry, dishes, etc (we do have a cleaning service to handle major cleaning tasks)
– Be able to help with meal preparation and can be conscientious of allergies
– Be flexible to help accommodate our work schedules
