Automotive Sales Consultant

Overview: Moncton Kia is seeking a skilled Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. As part of our sales department, you will play a crucial role assisting new customers, returning clientele, and maintaining customer relationship to ensure our customers receive high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

• Sell new and pre-owned vehicles
• Make sure that customers are completely with their purchase and vehicle needs
• Meet sales targets
• Maintain contact with customers
• Continuous training and focus on customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or similar role.
• Certification from an accredited automotive technical school or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• College diploma or University degree in business administration and/or sales is preferred
• Previous experience in automotive sales is an asset
• Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
• Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential

Miscellaneous:

• Participate in the car inspection and preparation process
• Cooperate in keeping the showroom department clean.
• Help display vehicles in the showroom and the parking lot for new and previously used vehicles.
• Take part in sales team meetings
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Pass and maintain all Kia courses.
