Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Compensation: $25.50/hour
Schedule: Flexible as per needs of the plant (weekdays and weekends), to be scheduled 40 hours per week.
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Industrial Electrician to join our team in Etobicoke, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical equipment within our food manufacturing facility. If you have a strong background in industrial electrical systems and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Requirements:

Industrial Electrician Ticket (442A or 309A with industrial experience). Red Seal certification is a plus.
Working knowledge or relevant experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Experience with Variable Speed Drives (VFD).
Good written and verbal English skills.
Minimum 2 years of work experience as a maintenance electrician in a food manufacturing environment.
Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform heavy physical lifting of machinery and parts (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to operate mobile equipment including forklifts, boom-lifts, and scissor lifts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Self-starter with initiative and creativity.
Detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Adherence to strict PPE and food safety (GMP) guidelines.
