Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment to perform tasks such as trenching, basement excavation, demolition, and grading.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment such as skidsteers, excavators, and loaders to complete assigned tasks
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor
• Assist general laborer’s with tasks and give direction as required

Requirements:
• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation
• Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
• Proficiency in operating skid steers, excavators and other heavy equipment
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Industry-competitive wages – the hourly wage for this position is based on previous experience and certifications.
