Hi, my name is Peter!
I love to be around other people, being busy and engaged, and learning new things. I enjoy spending time outside, especially in nature, and I love listening to music. I notice all sorts of things around me, I have an amazing memory and a great sense of humour.

People who know me love it when I laugh, and when they can help me figure out something new.

I am 21 years old, finished high school in June 2024, and am ready to start the next stage of my life in community.

I have autism, intellectual disability, communication disorder and ADHD.

My team is hiring an inclusion support worker to help me become more independent, and build a life for myself in community.

Starting September 3, 2024 I will need approximately 35-45 hours of support per week, to be shared amongst two or three individuals.

Has strong interpersonal and communication skills

Skilled at problem-solving and can handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.

JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team of support workers, as well as a member of Peter’s person-centered planning community. Your role is to support Peter to engage and participate in a wide range of community activities, including recreation, physical fitness, volunteer and employment. This will involve learning about and understanding what his goals are, and facilitating his activities and connections in community. You will also help coach him to become more independent in his activities of daily living. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive, imaginative, resourceful, motivating, and collaborative.
