Responsibilities:
Transport goods and cargo to various destinations safely and efficiently.
Maintain and operate a commercial truck according to company standards and federal regulations.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the truck to ensure safety and compliance.
Keep accurate logs of working hours, miles driven, and cargo transported.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial truck driver.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Strong knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Own a reliable and well-maintained truck suitable for long-haul transportation.
