Kamloops Child Development Centre is seeking a Part-time class 4 Van Driver for our School Age Program.
Wage: $20.75
Schedule: 7:00 to 9:00 AM / 2:00 – 4:00 PM
A clear criminal record check
Job Duties:
• Follow the daily transportation schedule.
• Drive children to and from the daycare during field trips.
• Load and unload children safely – ensure they are buckled in their set belts.
• Inspect the vehicle daily using a checklist.
• Report any van malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Add fuel and maintain detailed records of fuel costs and mileage.
• Cleans vans inside and out.
• Inspects car seats and booster seats for expiry dates and damage.
• Maintain clear communications with management and teachers at the childcare centre.
• Check the van to ensure all children have exited the van.
• Ensure all children are picked up.
