Construction Site Superintendents

Commercial general contracting firm operating in the Halifax Regional Municipality has an urgent requirement for qualified construction site superintendents.

• Work may vary from new builds to renovations: candidates should have a minimum of (10) years proven experience with construction of base buildings from initial sitework through to complete fixturing and fitup, ready for client turnover and/or past work on complex, detailed renovation projects.
• Role includes coordination of all subtrade and supplier activities, as well as liaison with client, consultant and local governing authorities as required to promote successful project delivery. Effective communication skills are key, along with the capacity to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and oversee strict safety guidelines.
• Applicants should be based and available locally; this position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
