Private three-horse farm near Jordan Station, Niagara is looking for experienced, reliable individual(s) for general barn duties.
Horses are out 24/7 weather permitting June to September and in the barn overnight October to May (all-weather turnouts during the day as required). Stalls, all-weather turnouts and pastures have hay feeders; turnouts and pastures have automatic waterers.
Duties include turning horses in and out, changing blankets as necessary, feeding grain (breakfast/dinner), cleaning and bedding stalls (bagged shavings), picking up manure in all-weathers and/or pastures, filling hay feeders, cleaning in-stall buckets and refilling, cleaning feed tubs, windows, doors of stalls.
Morning and afternoon/evening shifts available – 8 am to 10/11 am, 4 to 7/8 pm weekdays or weekends. Your own transportation required. $18 – $22 per hour depending on experience. Call 289-214-4901.
