Job description
Service advisors play an important role in building relationships with customers. In this role you will be the liaison between mechanics and the customer. You will provide sales/service quotes, and explain the process to the customer in a manner that they fully understand and appreciate. You will also provide information and guidance to customers seeking to purchase tires for various types of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

– Handle sales and service inquiries at the counter and by telephone
– Prepare quotes for vehicle repairs and/or tire purchases
– Prepare work orders for sales and service transactions
– Invoice products and services once work is completed
– Payment and cash handling required
– Order parts & tires as required
– Coordinate, and oversee vehicle activities within the shop
– Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Basic Requirements

– Valid “G” Drivers license, or greater
– Previous experience in a leadership role an asset
– Automotive knowledge or repair experience an asset
– Tire sales knowledge and/or experience an asset
– Strong communication skills
– Must be computer proficient
