Job Title: Ground Clean-Up Person – Tree Removal Company
Average wage $18hr depending on capability
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Ground Clean-Up Person for our well-established tree removal company.
As a Ground Clean-Up Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient removal of trees by maintaining a clean and organized work site. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to the beautification of the environment, and be part of a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
– Assist tree removal crew by safely clearing debris and limbs from work site using rakes, shovels, and other tools.
– Load and unload equipment, tools, and debris from trucks, ensuring proper disposal or recycling.
– Maintain a clean and organized work site, including clearing brush and branches, removing tree stumps, and sweeping or raking debris.
– Assist with equipment and tool maintenance, including cleaning, fuelling.
– Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and the team.
Requirements:

– Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or related field preferred but not required.
– Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and operating tools and equipment.
– Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work well in a team environment.
– Basic knowledge of tree removal procedures and equipment is a plus.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
