Howard Little Excavating Ltd. is a locally owned Annapolis Valley company that has continued to grow over the past 45 years. We specialize in sewer, water and road construction as well as excavation for residential, commercial and industrial buildings covering Kings, Annapolis and Hants Counties. We offer a wage and benefits package that is competitive within the industry.

We require asphalt personnel for the dedicated asphalt paving portion of our company which is entering its 6th season. Our primary focus is driveways and parking lots. During the first six years, we built a good Annapolis Valley customer base.

We are looking for personnel who are willing and able to do all aspects of the work required from preparing base materials to paving of surfaces. Personnel are to act in a professional and tidy manner with customer expectations at heart.

Qualifications:

1. Candidate should be in good physical condition
2. Candidate should have experience working in the asphalt industry
3. The motivated candidate should be able to equally perform alone and in a team environment
4. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and his or her own mode of transportation
