Participants will undergo Level 1 in-school training, receive essential employment and life skills training, gain proficiency in computer basics, and acquire CPR and First Aid safety certification. Additionally, you’ll have the invaluable opportunity to engage in up to 8 weeks of paid work placement experience, providing practical application of the skills learned throughout the program.
Please be advised that the program schedule is as follows:
In-school training component of the Apprenticeship Program: September 12 – December 20, 2024
Work Placement: December 23 – February 16, 2024
It’s essential to note that all applicants must be available Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and must be able to commit to full-time work during the 8-week paid placement.
Additionally, applicants are required to provide a copy of an OSSD or an evaluation of equivalency. This program is only available to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
