Harvest Vessel Deckhand – Blacks Harbour

We are seeking an eager self-starting Harvest Vessel Deckhand to join our Harvest Team based out of Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Harvest Vessel Captain, the duties of this job requires the use of harvest vessel equipment and an understanding of proper fish handling to successfully offload fish from the vessel to the plant or trucks without compromising quality.

Harvest Deckhands perform general maintenance work so that the vessel deck is clean, safe and operational.

The successful candidates must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Marine Emergency Duties (MED) certificate as well as a valid passport and be able to enter into the United States.

A willingness to travel and work flexible hours are a requirement of this position. Preference will be given to applicants with harvest vessel experience.
