Job Title: Executive Coordinator

Location:  Kingston, Ontario 

Pay Range: $72,466 – $80,000

 

What’s the Job?

  • Working independently for substantial periods of time to ensure the effective flow of information and seamless operations of the executive office.
  • the Executive Coordinator is responsible for the achievement of targeted outcomes and timelines, setting priorities, exercising good judgement in decision-making and/or appropriate deferral to others.
  • The position facilitates communications and interactions with all departments within organization, as well as with external stakeholders and community partners.

What’s Needed?
 

  • Completion of a minimum two-year post-secondary diploma in a Business or Office Administration program or a related field
  • 5 years of administrative or management experience providing support to senior leaders and boards (or related experience in an administrative or similar role)
  • Must have senior-level experience in executive administration and governance, with an understanding of faith-based and not-for-profit or charitable organizations
  • Highly organized with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform administrative and clerical duties with a high level of accuracy for multiple executive leaders in a timely manner within tight deadlines
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Intranet (SharePoint), audio-visual technology and internet knowledge
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to prioritize multiple projects, be flexible, and multitask with excellent time management skills, taking initiative to contribute ideas and efficiencies
  • Demonstrated team player with professional approach in a team-based organization
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enhance teamwork within a small organization; ability to deescalate conflict; ability to work at a rapid pace, balancing competing priorities in an evolving organization
  • Commitment to equitable, diverse and inclusive practices. Desire for personal growth and education to develop ongoing skills is essential
