Key Responsibilities:
Assembly: Assemble cabinets and other woodworking products according to blueprints, drawings, or written instructions.
Tools and Equipment: Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery such as saws, drills, sanders, and clamps.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring alignment, fit, and finish meet quality standards.
Material Handling: Select and prepare materials for assembly, including cutting, shaping, and fitting components.
Finishing: Apply finishes, veneers, and other decorative elements as required.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in woodworking or carpentry is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in cabinet making, woodworking, or a related field is highly desirable.
Skills:
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
