Are you an experienced flatbed driver with a Valid DZ or AZ license? We are interested in speaking with you! Swift Delivery Systems is one of Ottawa’s most reputable and rapidly growing transportation companies, with over 30 years of helping companies grow and succeed in Ottawa and beyond. As a key member of our driver team, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient delivery of goods.
Position Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a DZ or AZ operator. You must be comfortable with highway driving, regular tight turns, and backup into small docks. Must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs consistently. Follow company rules and regulations in regard to safety and hours of service.
• Valid license with a clean driver abstract.
• Ability to start immediately.
Schedule: 40-45 hours/week

Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a flatbed truck and Moffett in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
• Strapping of loads in all weather conditions.
• Secure cargo properly to ensure safe transportation.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
