Detailed Overview:
Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:
Leads the Health Career Access Program (HCAP) implementation within the areas of Fraser Health or Mental Health & Substance Use Services (MH&SUS) sites. Provides expert advice related to the program’s mandate, integration of Mental Health & Addictions Support Workers into site operations and assists sites to identify and raise student progress/performance issues as required. Develops tools and mechanisms to measure, monitor and evaluate progress and outcomes of the program within these settings and provides related advice and support to those with operational accountability. Leads program communications and dissemination of information across MH&SUS, serves as a key resource to program queries and issues and works collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. Provides leadership to roles assigned to support the program within MH&SUS. Supports orientation of HCAP participants.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Allied Health Science or other relevant clinical discipline. Seven (7) years of recent related clinical experience in a mental health & substance use environment including five (5) years of experience in managing and leading clinical initiatives/programs, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Understanding of clinical operations and the role of health care disciplines within a mental health & substance use setting.

- Critical thinking and analytical skills including statistical analysis and evaluation methodology.
- Ability to operate related equipment including applicable software applications.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
