Responsibilities:

-Assist with the ongoing development of plant standards and quality programs.
– Enforce the QA/QC program through communication with production personnel Assist in Problem solving & troubleshooting of product quality issues during processing
-Conduct inspections of product during processing
-Collection of product & environmental samples for microbiological testing and sending to lab.
-Monitor and verify production process according to customer specification and conduct regular process line testing testing equipment’s
-Monitoring staff and surroundings for GMP & HACCP compliance
-Data entry, record keeping & completion of QA/QC forms Assist with the monitoring of janitorial service & sanitation
-Assist in investigating product quality, foreign matter, and food borne illness complaints
-Conduct cut specifications and compliance to customer specification. Any other food safety & quality control related job assigned by Food Safety Program Manager

Job Qualifications:

-2 years’ experience working with food safety/quality systems documentation and administration. Produce experience preferred
-Science/ Food Science/ Technology diploma, or degree, is required
-Knowledge & experience with HACCP, SOP’s, SSOP’s, and GMP’s
-Ability to work in refrigerated and fast-paced environment
-Good communication skills and the ability to speak and write fluent English,
-Experience or knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) Attention to detail
-Lifting up to 45 lbs may be required
-Standing, walking constant

Working conditions

-Refrigerated Environment (Cold/Wet)
-Vegetable processing (odorous)
