Full Time Position

SCOPE OF WORK:
– Perform maintenance and repair on building systems and mechanical operating equipment, including but not limited to:
~heating ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC),
~associated water treatment systems,
~air handling and exhaust systems
~ make-up air equipment
~boilers and related equipment
~ suspended unit heaters
~ circulation pumps
~ electronic and humidification systems
~ associated hot water recovery systems,
~ chillers and cooling tower systems (refrigeration plants),
~heat pumps
– Troubleshoot problems with mechanical equipment and related systems to identify causes of failure and implement effective repair solutions in a timely and efficient manner
– Record scope of call into database, specifying whether repairs are needed – Working with service manager to make sure repairs are done in a timely manner

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES AND DUTIES
– Delivery of services
– Ability to operate HVAC equipment in a safe manner
– Strong commitment to delivering quality customer service and excellent communication skills

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:
– Must have valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
– Must have at minimum a TSSA G2 Certificate
– Proof of current valid certificates and educational qualification
– Must be able to demonstrate a high level knowledge of: refrigeration equipment, pumps, motors, HVAC equipment, , a variety of electrical components related safety regulations
– Must be able to effectively communicate with clients in a professional manner.

Work Requirements This is a full time position. General working hours will be 8-4, with some flexibility and overtime may be required during busy seasons.
