Maintenance Supervisor

As a member of the Maintenance Department at Braya, the Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the implementation of the Maintenance Program. This role involves supervising several Multi-discipline Maintenance Crews and actively participating in planning and coordinating with all departments to enhance facility safety, reliability, and business goals. The ideal candidate will also uphold Braya’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance team to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and safety regulations by employees.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan activities for the team, including working with contractors.
  • Manage data entry into various systems (e.g., work order history, employee time details, monthly reports, disciplinary records, etc.).
  • Foster a positive employee relations environment within the department.
  • Review employee performance, provide feedback, and offer coaching as needed
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Journeyperson Status (equivalency may be considered)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical screening.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and mentor employees.
  • Motivated, hardworking, and maintains a professional attitude.
  • Exemplary track record in Health, Safety, and Environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Computer literacy preferred, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., Maximo or SAP).

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly lifts/moves object up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifts/moves >50lbs. Push/Pulling forces up to 50lbs are required.
  • Work repetitively involves reaching/stretching, bending, and twisting; regular standing, walking, and climbing.
  • Use of gross and fine motor skills; constant use of hand tools that require accurate control and steadiness and maintaining physical balance (e.g. Ladders/scaffolding).
  • Work environments can present exposure to loud noises or environmental hazards.
