Seeking Babysitter in Fernie, BC – $20/hr, Saturday July 13/Sund

Our family is coming to Fernie, British Columbia this weekend (July 12-14) to mountain bike and we are looking for a nurturing and social babysitter for our 15 year old son Drew. Drew is a loving kid with some cognitive and gross motor delays, but a great sense of humour and easygoing attitude. He does not have any behavioural issues. He loves playing uno, going for walks and learning more about people’s families. The ideal candidate will have experience with young children or children with special needs and be able to provide a safe and engaging environment. We are looking for care on the mornings of Saturday, July 13 from 8:30-1 and Sunday July 14 from 8:30-11 (or similar hours, depending on your availability, we are flexible). We can pay $20 an hour if you can provide a receipt or sign a receipt form (for our records as Drew has a government subsidy for respite.
